How to convert an image to JPG

  1. Choose a PNG, WebP or JPEG file. Animated formats, SVG and HEIC are not supported.
  2. Set the background color for transparent areas and adjust JPEG quality. The image keeps its dimensions.
  3. Convert, inspect the preview and download a real .jpg file.

A transparent PNG logo needs a background before saving as JPG. Keep the original PNG if you plan to place the logo over another design later.

Questions, answered

Will JPG preserve transparency?

No. JPEG stores opaque pixels. A white background is selected by default; choose another color before conversion.

Does this resize or remove the background?

It keeps the decoded image dimensions and fills existing transparency. It does not remove backgrounds. Use Resize image to change dimensions.

Can I convert an animated GIF or HEIC?

This tool accepts static PNG, WebP and JPEG only. Animated PNG/WebP are rejected. Export a still PNG or JPEG from your source app first.

Why can the new file be larger?

JPEG size depends on content and quality. A simple PNG or already optimized JPEG may be smaller. Compare the displayed byte counts before downloading.
