Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
The short version
Your images are processed entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. No image you load into the halftone generator is ever uploaded to a server — there is no upload endpoint, and the tool keeps working if you go offline after the page loads. You can verify this yourself in your browser's developer tools network tab.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, transmit or share your images. We do not require an account, and the generator works without one. Exported files are generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
Settings on your device
Your browser may store your theme preference. If you choose Save style, it also stores one set of editor settings locally, including print width and transparency. It does not save your image or filename, and the style is applied only when you choose Load saved style. Remove saved style deletes those settings without changing your current image or theme. You can also clear this website’s data in your browser settings. If storage is blocked, you can continue editing and exporting without saving a style.
Basic analytics and advertising
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic (for example page views), and we may display advertising in the future. When that happens, third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies. We will update this page before any such scripts are activated, and ad containers on this site remain empty and inert in the meantime. You can also block these technologies in your browser settings.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to printing supplies may be affiliate links marked with
rel="sponsored". Clicking them costs you nothing extra; they may earn us a small
commission. They never receive any of your image data.

Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and revise this page. The core promise will not change: your images stay on your device.
